In addition, TNO is an important partner for the government and public sectors in the area of (health) care and employment issues.

Expertise: TNO is involved in new concepts to assess the safety of foods, food ingredients and packaging materials and the (risk) management of hazards in the feed and food chain. One of the main activities in food safety is based on the concept of Emerging Risk Identification (ERIS). TNO plays a leading role in this field using information extraction technologies.

TNO is a participant in Work area 4 (Conceptualise improved dialogue) and 5 (Develop toolbox).
